Interests/Involvements
Piano
I've been playing piano since I was four years old. Throughout my life, I've performed at various recitals and competitions. I primarily play classical music, but recently I've been branching out to other genres, such as pop and anime music.
Tennis
I have played tennis since elementary school, and I played on the varsity tennis team at my high school. At UC, I currently play intramural tennis, and I am part of the UC club tennis team.
Chess
I started picking up chess the summer after my senior year. I enjoy playing online chess when I am relaxing with friends, but I haven't played in any tournaments (yet).
RefugeUC
I am part of RefugeUC, an organization dedicated to empower high school refugee students through mentorship. I work with these students at Aiken High School, offering school advice and fun activities along the way.
Hall Government
I was the president of J-Plex Hall Government, and my team hosted monthly social events for over 500 residents at Turner and Schneider Halls. We held events for popular holidays such as Halloween, Día de los Muertos, and Chinese New Year as other events like our Stress-Less event, Black History month event, and International Women's Day.
