Hello!

About Me

My name is Jason Xiao, and I am a third-year Medical Sciences student at UC, minoring in Integrative Health and Public Health. Growing up in Beavercreek, Ohio, I have always had a passion for learning, whether it was studying dinosaurs or mastering origami. Over time, my interests have evolved, but my drive for learning has remained steadfast. My aspiration is to become a physician and use my knowledge to give back to my community, particularly by empowering others through education.

I have been actively involved with RED (Resident Education and Development), where I served as Hall Government President in my freshman year at J-Plex, President of the Residence Hall Association in my sophomore year, and am currently a Resident Advisor at CP Cincy. These leadership experiences have deepened my commitment to creating a positive impact in my community. Additionally, I am a Supplemental Instruction Leader at the UC Learning Commons, where I support fellow students in their academic growth.

Through UC and the University Honors Program, I aim to continue to pursue expriences that will help me further my goal of community engagement while enriching my college experience. As I continue my journey, I am eager to discover what it truly means to be a Global Citizen Scholar and find my identity as I work toward a future as a physician who makes a difference.
